These cars were delivered to GM&O in 1947-48. The original order of 15 coaches was changed to 11 coaches and 4 parlor cars. The window arrangement was the same for both types of cars. The cars were unusual in that they rode on 6 wheel trucks and had fixed vestibule stairs. They were commonly used on the "Abraham Lincoln, Alton Limited and Gulf Coast Rebel" and since they were mixed lower profile 1938 cars, ramps had to be made so people wouldn't stumble going from low to high profile cars. The parlor cars seated 26 with a private drawing room available for private space on day trips. The disposition of these cars is not known.
