These 44 ACF Smooth Side 44 Seat Coaches (includes Lots 3843, 6 cars for C&NW, and 4095, 30 cars for UP) were delivered to Union Pacific in late '54. These cars are essentially similar to the 35 cars built by St. Louis Car Lots 1807 and 1830. The cars were numbered as follows:
Lot 3812: 5450 to 5457 Lot 3843: C&NW 3477 to 3482
Lot 4095: 5458 to 5487. We don't know the disposition of these cars, but assume, due to the large number of them, that there are still several in existence.
