These 19 PS smooth side 12 Duplex Roomette/5 Bedroom Sleepers were delivered to Pennsylvania Railroad from mid '38 to late '40.  They were ordered for the "General" and "Spirit of St. Louis," but were frequently foun in the consist of the "Broadway Limited."  All but four of the cars were scrapped, with one going to Amtrak and the rest to museums.
