These sides are for a smooth side Pullman Co. 6 Bedroom Buffet Lounge. 6 of these cars were delivered to New York Central in '39, 4 for the "Commodore Vanderbilt" and 2 for the "Detroiter." Originally Pullman property, they became Central property after the Pullman break-up. Another 12 cars of the same window arrangement were built to plan #4086B. The disposition of these "Falls" series cars is not known.
