These smooth sides are for a 6 Bedroom Buffet Lounge. 16 of these cars were delivered to New York Central in '49 for general service. They ran on the "Commodore," "Detroiter" and "Cleveland Limited." Half were sold to private owners and half were scrapped in the early '60s.
