These 11 PS 14 Roomette/4 Double Bedroom stainless steel fluted side sleepers were delivered to Southern in late '49 for use on the "Tennessean" and other trains. They had PS Phase II fluting (included with the kit) and rode on 41-N-11 trucks. All were retired in '71, 7 were scrapped, two were sold and one donated to the Roanoke Chapter, NRHS.
