These 8 PS Fluted Side 5 Bdrm Buffet Lounge Observations were delivered to Southern (3), Florida East Coast (1), L&N (2), New York Central (1), and WofA (1) in early '50 for use in the "New Royal Palm" and the "Crescent."  The NYC car was destroyed in a derailment in '51.  Southern's three cars were rebuilt to 11 Bedroom Sleepers in '57.  FEC's car was made into a business car in '60, and the L&N and WofA cars were sold to private owners.
