Pullman Standard 11 Bedroom Fluted Side Sleeper. Seaboard Air Line Railroad ordered 6 of these cars in 1955 for use in the "Silver Meteor." By this date, most railroads had removed the center skirts on their cars because they made maintenance more difficult, but Seaboard had them put on these cars. All were sold to Amtrak in 1971.
