Amtrak "Surfliner" Coach/Cafe - These cars, built by M-K/Amerail in Hornell, NY, are part of the Amtrak "California Cars" and "Surfliners". All kits include the fluted (corrugated) sides, Train Station Products roof and ends, two end covers, TSP diaphragms, TSP floor, bi-level floor parts, TSP truck assembly, a complete Palace Car Company interior, and a set of decals. In addition to those parts, the Cab Car Kit (#8300) for the "California Cars" and the Baggage Coach Cab (#6900) for the "Surfliners," include one end cover with windows and parts for the light lenses and number boards and a pilot. The "California Cars" include #8000 Coach (Trailer), #8200 Baggage Coach, #8300 Cab Car, and #8800 Diner. The "Surfliners" include #6300 Coach Cafe, #6400/6800 Business Class/Coach, and #6900 Coach Baggage Cab Car. The kits are available in HO scale only, but the sides are available in N Scale.
