These 6 PS Observation/Tavern/Lounge cars with prewar style fluting, 3 round end for the "Southerner" and 3 flat end for the "Tennessean," were delivered to Southern Railway in '41.  The "Tennessean's" were flat end to allow the addition of sleeping cars to the end of the train.  All six of the cars were dismantled in '57.
