Pullman Standard Fluted Side 44 Seat Leg Rest Coach. Santa Fe took delivery of 51 of these cars in '47. The cars, the 2800 series, had pull out leg rests for the long journeys of "Chico's" road. They originally came with full, fluted skirts which were eventually removed. 45 were ordered for use on the "El Capitan" and 6 for the "Texas Chief." Some made it to Amtrak service and to NJDOT.
