These PS 56 seat coaches had stainless steel above and below the windows. The window panels and roof were painted a brilliant red. They were delivered to Katy (3) and Frisco (9) in 1947 for joint service on the "Texas Special" and Frisco used some on the "Meteor." One Katy car was wrecked and the other two were sold to SP&S in 1967. Three of the Frisco cars were sold to GN in 1966, one is on display in Amory, MS and the other five went to MTA.
