These smooth side Pullman Standard Articulated Dormitory/Kitchen-Diner-Bar Lounge cars were delivered to Southern Pacific in '49. The units were ordered for use on the "Cascade" and were known as the "Cascade Club." They ran until '68, when the two sets were sold to Herb Riechold of Jamestown, CA. Since this is a 3 car articulated set, 3 core kits are required to build the model, plus some kind of full width diaphragms. HO scale instructions for making the articulation joints are provided, but N scalers would have to scale down the sizes shown.
