These 12 PS Fluted Side Lunch Counter Diners were delivered to Santa Fe in summer '50 for use on the "El Capitan."  The cars were numbered 1566 to 1577.  Two were used in each trainset, one behind the first two coaches and one the third car from the year.  Six of these cars were scrapped.  The other six were sold to private owners.  The cars were delivered without center skirts and had Pullman Phase II fluting.
