Pullman Standard Fluted Side Dormitory/Lounge. Santa Fe took delivery of 6 of these cars in '50 for use on the "Super Chief." There were 18 bunks and 2 showers on these cars, and the lounge section had 28 seats. The car was usually just forward of the table end of the Dining Car so that patrons could sit while waiting on a table. These cars, #1339 to 1344, were all acquired by Amtrak in '71.
