These ACF 12 Roomette/4 Bedroom Smooth Side Sleepers were delivered in late '49/early '50 to Union Pacific (11), C&NW (2), and Wabash (4) for use in the "City of St. Louis" and the "City of Portland." All wore the UP Armour Yellow and gray and had names starting with "Western." The two C&NW cars were scrapped in '64, two of the Wabash cars were sold to Butterworth Tours and one was sold to UP. The last car was retained by N&W. All of the UP cars were converted to 11 Bedrooms in '65 and retained by the railroad.
