These 2 Budd Fluted Stainless Steel Parlor/Bar/Lounge/Observation Cars were delivered to the Pennsylvania Railroad in early '52 for use on the "Congressionals." Pennsy designated the cars POC85b, numbered 7128 and 7129, named "Alexander Hamilton" and "George Washington." Both cars went to Amtrak and then to SP for use in their business train.
Kit construction note: Parts are included for the observation end, as seen in the diagram. You will need to purchase plastic tubing to round the corners. Instructions are not included for this process.
