These 2 Budd Fluted Stainless Steel Parlor/Bar/Lounge/Observation Cars were delivered to the Pennsylvania Railroad in early '52 for use on the "Senator." Since the Senator didn't have the Conference Room car, the tail car had to sacrifice 4 seats to make room for a phone booth. Pennsy designated the cars POC85c, numbered 7126 and 7127, and named "Benjamin Franklin" and "Martha Washington." Their disposition is not known to us.
Kit construction note: Parts are included for the observation end, as seen in the diagram. You will need to purchase plastic tubing to round the corners. Instructions are not included for this process.
