These 50 Budd Slab Side 21 Roomette Sleepers were delivered to Pennsylvania between Jan. and June '49 for use in general service.  The cars were numbered 8241 to 8290 and named in the "Inn" series.  The cars were all rebuilt into coaches in late '63, renumbered 1500 to 1549.  All had 76 seats and a smoking lounge except 1548 and 1549 which had 70 seats and a snack bar.  Disposition of these cars wasn't mentioned in the "Passenger Car Library.
