These 10 Budd Prewar Fluted Side Diners were delivered to Santa Fe in mid '37 primarily for use on "The Chief."  They were numbered 1475 to 1484.  One of these cars was assigned to "The Tulsan" in '39.  In '54, they were assigned to "The San Fransico Chief."  Five cars went to Amtrak in '71, the other five were sold for scrap in '68 and '70.  These cars had an 83'2" coupled length, but we have adjusted the sides to fit a TSP core kit without any modification.
