These 6 Budd Fluted Side Baggage/Dormitory/Lounge cars were delivered to Santa Fe in late '37 for use on "The Chief."  The names and numbers were:  1380, San Miguel  1381, San Marcial  1382, San Fernando  1383, San Simon  1384, San Ignacio  and 1385, San Pascal.  Two cars were wrecked.  The rested were converted to Baggage/Dormitory cars and all were eventually sold to Amtrak.    Note:  These cars had a 79' 10" coupled length and the sides are prototypical length, which requires shortening whatever core/base you use.
