These 2 Budd Prewar Fluted Baggage/Dormitory/Bar Lounges were delivered to Santa Fe in early '38 for use on "The Super Chief."  The two cars, 1386 "San Clemente" and 1387 "San Acacia," were rebuilt into Baggage/Dormitory cars:  1387 in '48 and 1386 in '56.  There was no mention of their disposition in the Passenger Car Library.  Note:  These cars had a coupled length of 79' 10".  The kit is prototypical, so the shortening of the core/base is required.
