In December ’46, SP bought 5 former US Army Hospital cars and rebuilt them into Baggage Dormitories for use on the “San Francisco Overland,” “Golden State” and the “City of San Francisco.” �We have done 3 different kits (3401, 3401A and 3401B) to cover the various ways that SP built and rebuilt the cars. �Check photographs and our drawings to make sure you have the exact kit that you need.

FOR CAR SIDES ONLY: If you are using a donor car and replacing it's sides with ours, we will need the length that you need. Our default length is 11-3/8". Please put your needed length below. Also, if you want skirts removed, please state ALL for a flat bottom on the sides or CENTER to have the center skirt removed.
