Description

Model a car with a rich and well-documented history with our #4187D-R MILW Smooth Side Business Car ‘Montana’ parts. Originally built by the Milwaukee Road in 1948 as the business car ‘Milwaukee,’ it was one of the final all-new cars delivered by the railroad’s own shops. After a long career in executive service, it was retired in 1977 and passed through several owners before being acquired and beautifully restored by the Friends of the 261. Now named ‘Montana,’ it continues to serve in excursion and charter service. Our precision-engineered parts capture the elegant smooth-sided aesthetic and the specific window arrangements of this historic car. Designed for modelers who value historical depth and fine detail, these components provide everything needed to build an authentic model of this prestigious executive car in its original or restored configuration.
