These 24 cars were delivered between 1/48 and 6/48 to Katy(7) and Frisco (17) for use on the “Texas Special.” Frisco used 10 on the “Meteor.” CN bought 12 of the Frisco cars in ’65 and the rest were retired and sold. All 7 of the Katy cars were retired in ’64 and ’65 and scrapped.
