These 29 cars were delivered in 3/53 to 4/53 to L&N (22), C&EI (4) and NC&StL (3). They were named in the “Pine” series. 3 of the C&EI cars went to NdeM and 1 was rebuilt into a MoPac Business Car. The NC&StL cars went to L&N in ’57 and 7 of the cars went to NdeM, 2 were wrecked, 3 went to Ringling Bros., 7 to a wild bird sanctuary and 1 became an L&N inspection car. The other 3 were sold to private owners.
