These 162 cars were delivered to C&NW between ’60 and ’70. The exterior is essentially the same as the 10 96 Seat Coaches built for the “Peninsula 400” and “Green Bay 400,” and the 60 Seat Parlor Car for the “Peninsula 400.” The 11 long-distance cars went to Amtrak in ’74 and the Gallery Cars went to RTA in ’78. Rock Island also purchased 5 of these cars, all of which went to RTA in ’78.
