This car was delivered to Santa Fe in 3/40 as a Baggage-Dormitory-32 Seat Coach for use in general service. The version shown here was rebuilt in ’50 as a Baggage-Dormitory, and had the hi-level roof adapter added in ’56 for use on the “El Capitan.” It went to Amtrak in 5/71 and was sold to a museum in ’83. Adapter available separately.
