These 2 cars were delivered in ’49 for use on the “Shasta Daylight.” They ran on the Shasta until ’55, when they were replaced by SP’s homemade Dome Lounges. They were converted to 86 Seat Coaches in ’63. 1 went to Amtrak in ’73 and the other was scrapped.
