These 3 cars were delivered in late ’49 to 1-’50 to Florida East Coast for use on the “Champion.” They were named “Hypoluxo,” “Salerno” and “Lantana.” Two more cars with the same floor plan but without fluting and painted Illinois Central orange, yellow and brown for use on the “City of Miami.” See Item #7593A-IC. All went to SAL in ’65 and then on to Amtrak.
