These 3 cars were delivered to C&O in 7/48 for service on the ill-fated “Chessie.” They had a children’s theater and a play room. The coach seats were intended for families with small children and had bottle warming and changing tables. At least one was acquired by L&N and converted to a Tavern Lounge. Their disposition is not known to us.
