This was a group of 14 Diners that were delivered to Santa Fe in’37. They were numbered #1474 through 1487, with 1474 named “Cochiti” and 1485 named “Awatobi” for service on the “Super Chief.” Six of the cars were assigned to the “Chief”, one to the “Chicagoan” and one to the “Kansas Cityan.” The Cochiti is fully restored and on display at the California Railroad Museum.
