This car and it's identical sister were delivered in 12/47 for use on the "City of Los Angeles. They were LA-401 "Las Vegas" and LA-402 "Salt Lake." They became C&NW 3408 and 3409 when ownership transferred in '47. You would need 2 of these kits to make the complete articulated car.
