#7596 D&RGW PS Fluted Side Lunch Counter Buffet Lounge

These 2 cars were delivered to Rio Grande in 8/'50 for use on the "Royal Gorge." They were name "Castle Gate" and "Royal Gorge." They were originally ordered by the Pere Marquette and had smaller windows than the 7596A. They were sold to Pennsy in '67; went to Penn Central and then to Amtrak in '74.
