11 UP, 2 C&NW and 4 Wabash cars were delivered in early ’50. 12 were for use on the “City of St Louis” and 5 for the “City of Portland.” C&NW’s cars were scrapped in ’64; Wabash sold 2 to Butterworth Tours and 1 to UP, and 1 was retained by N&W. The 12 UP cars were rebuilt into 11 Double Bedroom cars in ’65 (see #3069) and retained.
