These 2 cars were delivered to Santa Fe in early ’37 for use on the “Super Chief.” Named “Isleta” and “Laguna.” Isleta was used as a crew dormitory beginning in ’57 and was scrapped in ’68. Laguna was destroyed in a wreck in ’43. These original lightweight cars were shorter than later builds, so the core kit will have to be shortened (not included).
