These 12 cars were delivered to C&O in 6/48 for use on “The Chessie,” which never ran. They were used in general service and were numbered 1500 to 1511. 8 went to South America in ’51; 1 went to ACL; 3 to SAL. The 4 went on to Amtrak.

FOR CAR SIDES ONLY: If you are using a donor car and replacing it's sides with ours, we will need the length that you need. Our default length is 11-3/8". Please put your needed length below. Also, if you want skirts removed, please state ALL for a flat bottom on the sides or CENTER to have the center skirt removed.
