These 2 cars were delivered to UP/C&NW/SP in 7/41 for use on the "City of Los Angeles" and "City of San Francisco." LA 405 "Pasadena" became property of UP in '47 and renumbered UP 1500 in '53,, It was retired and sold in '60. SF 407 "Montgomery Street" became the property of C&NW in '47 and was renumbered C&NW 6148, It was retired and sold in '58.
