#4068B ATSF PS Fluted Side 17 Roomette-1 Section Sleeper

These 7 cars were delivered in early '38 for use on the "Chief."  They were all converted to Coaches in '60.  They were named "Chaco," "Chinle," "Maito," "Otowi," "Tonto," "Tuba" and "Paria" and later numbered 2804 to 2810.  2 went to Amtrak and the other 5 to New York commuter companies.
