#7437 RI PS Fluted Side Diner-Lounge-Observation

These 4 cars were delivered in late '40 for use on the "Choctaw Rocket" and "Zephyr Rocket."  They were numbered 430 to 433 and named "Memphis; Little Rock; St Louis; St Paul."  "Little Rock" was converted to  a mid-train 30 seat Diner in '58 (see 7437-R); the other 3 were retired in '60 and '61 and either sold to an equipment dealer or scrapped.  The converted car was sold in '74.
