#7544 NYC PS Smooth Side 68 Seat Full Length Diner

These 4 cars were delivered in 7/48 to 8/48 for use on the "20th Century Limited" and "Commodore Vanderbilt."  The cars were numbered 400 to 403 and were paired with #7545 Kitchen-Lounges and #7546 Kitchen-Dormitory. 1 set was scrapped in '60 and another ran on the Century until '71.
