#978 ATSF Budd Fluted Side Baggage-Dorm-Lounge

6 of these cars were delivered to Santa Fe in late '37 for use on the "Chief." They were numbered 1380 to 1385 and named in the "San xxx" series.  4 of the cars were converted to Baggage Dormitory cars in '56 and used on various trains.  Those cars went to Amtrak.
